Inner Peace Connection Chair Yoga provides an opportunity to practice stabilizing postures to help with balance, mobility, and strength — in body AND mind. Every class includes sitting and standing poses and is sprinkled with yoga philosophy shared by your instructor Heather Felty, 230-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
Keep your body agile and your mind alert by attending classes from home (or on the road!) through your computer, tablet, or phone — all via Zoom online meeting software!
Classes are 45 minutes.
Requirements:
- Ability to sit down and get up from chair with relative ease
- A sturdy chair and room to move around it
- A stable internet connection & stable camera/device placement
- A willingness to have fun and move your body in a safe environment
Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices that originated in ancient India. More than just stretching, yoga provides a calmness of mind while practicing breathing techniques.
Chair Yoga is for individuals who would like to try yoga but might be worried that their impaired physical abilities will limit them. If you can sit on and stand up from a chair, you can do chair yoga!
Not all poses are done in a chair, but anyone who is worried about getting up from and down to the floor or who is balance-challenged will find this chair yoga practice a great way to bring together their physical, mental, and spiritual sides.

- THREE 45-minute classes per week
